Gov. Sanford, State and Local Planners to Address Hurricane Plan
GOVERNOR, STATE EMERGENCY OFFICIALS, COASTAL
DISASTER PREPAREDNESS OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS READINESS
Columbia, S.C. - June 10, 2008 - Governor Mark Sanford and state emergency preparedness and response personnel will travel to Horry, Charleston and Beaufort counties Wednesday (June 11, 2008) to join local emergency planners to discuss South Carolina's preparedness as we head into the 2008 storm season that began last week.
On Wednesday, the Governor along with state and local officials will hold news conferences in the following locations:
10:00 a.m. - Charleston
Lonnie Hamilton III Public Safety Building, 4045 Bridge View Drive, North Charleston
11:45 a.m. - Beaufort
Law Enforcement Center, Emergency Operations Center, 2001 Duke Street, 2nd Floor, Beaufort
1:45 p.m. - Grand Strand
