Gov. Henry McMaster Announces At-large Appointment to Serve on the S.C. Department of Transportation Commission

Kristen E. Blanchard, VP of External Corporate Affairs at Nutramax Laboratories, is the Governor’s Latest Appointment to SCDOT Commission

Columbia, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster today announced his appointment of Kristen E. Blanchard to serve in the newly created at-large seat of the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Commission. Mrs. Blanchard, who is the Vice President of External Corporate Affairs at Nutramax Laboratories, has been with the company since 1997.

“My nominees for the Department of Transportation Commission are successful business and community leaders who will provide conservative leadership for the agency and the taxpayers,” said Gov. Henry McMaster. “I am confident Ms. Blanchard’s public service will help South Carolina reach its full economic potential and prosperity.”

A 1990 graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego, Ms. Blanchard has served on the South Carolina Manufacturing Alliance Board of Directors, the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, the Lancaster County Economic Development Advisory Board, and the Lancaster County Fellowship of Christian Athletes Advisory Board.

Ms. Blanchard is married with two children living in Fort Mill, S.C.
