Don Construction Products launching Lancaster County operations

Columbia, S.C. – Don Construction Products (DCP), a U.K.-based world leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing advanced technology products for the construction industry, is launching its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Lancaster County. The new development is projected to bring $6.2 million in capital investment and create 21 new jobs. 

Serving the construction industry for more than 80 years, DCP manufactures a wide range of construction chemical products, including admixtures, sealants, waterproofing, surface treatments, concrete repair materials, and more. With customers in more than 35 countries, the company features professional technical support, as well as an advanced research and development center to meet its customers’ specific needs.

The company’s new facility will be located in KCH Industrial Park at 1409 Kershaw Camden Highway in Heath Springs, S.C. DCP will be establishing a new construction materials manufacturing operation in order to diversify the company’s product portfolio to include additional dry mortars, sealants, resins, and polymer-based products. Forecasted to be online by the third quarter of 2018, the company expects hiring for the new positions to begin in the second quarter of 2018. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
