Columbia, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster will hold an additional Employ SC job fair in Winnsboro on Thursday, August 24.

Employ SC is a rapid response coalition of public and private organizations that was created to assist those affected by the suspension of the VC Summer nuclear reactor project. Governor McMaster decided to plan an additional job fair because of the overwhelming response from South Carolina corporate citizens and the results of matching employees with employers.

Former employees of DuraFiber Technologies still searching for jobs are also encouraged to attend.

Employ SC provides South Carolinians in search of jobs with an opportunity to connect with state agencies and workforce development groups focused on matching prospective employers with talented workers that fit their needs. Companies from across the state will be represented and prepared to interview prospective employees.

Registration is not mandatory to attend, but is encouraged to ensure individuals receive the latest updates.
