Thermo King Locating New Operations in Berkeley County

Columbia, S.C. – Thermo King, a provider of transportation refrigeration solutions, is locating new manufacturing operations in Berkeley County. In order to serve the rapidly-growing automotive sector in South Carolina, the company is investing $2.6 million and creating 25 new jobs.

With existing locations in Columbia, Florence and Myrtle Beach, Thermo King is a manufacturer of transport temperature-control systems for the automotive and trucking industries. The company offers a complete line of heavy-duty compressors, driers, condensers and more, along with full-service repair capabilities.

Through its new operations, the company will be supporting Mercedes-Benz Vans’ local operations by upfitting the new Sprinter Van model with heavy-duty mobile air conditioning solutions. Those interested in joining the Thermo King team should visit the Thermo King website.
